Editorial Illustration for Dublin Inquirer

Dublin Inquirer approached me to design a cover for their next issue about a recent event. This was during the summer of 2020 while the Back Lives Matter movement was reignited after George Floyd's tragic death. This cover was inspired by Black women and their strength and perseverance in pushing forward change in the Black Lives Matter movement. The tone is solemn and empowering as the women stand together, hands clasped. The blue sky above points toward a more hopeful future, where our solidarity will be our strength.
